Elton John Adds 2014 Dates For "The Diving Board" Tour

January 14, 2014

The legendary Elton John picks up where he left off as his next batch of tour dates supporting his latest album “The Diving Board” beginning on February 1st. Next, the Rocket Man will spend the remainder of the month in Canada and South America before hitting the south east United States and an extended stay of 16 performances at The Colosseum in Las Vegas, NV.

Elton John tour tickets for his North American dates currently average $267.32 on the secondary market. Breaking it down even further, the six Canadian dates average $269 with Centre Bell tickets being the cheapest both of the Canadian dates as well as the whole tour (averaging $175). Hamilton's Copp Coliseum tops things off with an average ticket price of $396.

Assuming Vegas is it's own entity, John's performances there cost an average of $251.19 per ticket. If you're planning on seeing the icon in Sin City, you'd be foolish not to pick April 1st. The pseudo-holiday is currently The Colosseum at Caesars Palace's cheapest date, averaging $223/ticket.

Of the 5 remaining US dates, the average ticket will run you $274.91. The February 1st opening performance at Youngstown, Ohio's Covelli Centre is the most expensive of the bunch, averaging $382/ticket. This can be contributed to the idea that the 7,000 capacity building features the most intimate date of the tour outside of Vegas.

“The Diving Board”, John's 30th studio release peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard 200 and number 7 on the Canadian Albums Chart. For all updates on Elton John tour tickets, be sure to check out TicketIQ.
