Lionel Richie To Play 'All The Hits All Night Long' This Summer
February 13, 2014
After launching his first major Stateside tour in a decade last year, one of the most successful male vocalists of all time will once again play ‘All The Hits All Night Long’ this summer after releasing Lionel Richie tickets for a further series of 35 dates.
The 64-year-old, who returned to his homeland’s live stage last September, will first embark on a joint tour Down Under with Australian superstar John Farnham and a handful of Far East shows before kicking off the second North American leg of his career-spanning trek at Vancouver’s Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena on May 29.
The five-time Grammy winner, who reached the top of the Billboard 200 for the first time in 19 years with 2012’s Tuskegee, will then take in the likes of Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center on June 6, Wantagh’s Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on June 25 and Charlotte’s PNC Music Pavilion on July 17 before wrapping up at the Bethel Woods Center For The Arts on August 2.
Lionel Richie tickets are currently only on offer at TicketIQ for his performance at New Orleans’ Essence Music Festival on July 4 with a get-in price of $278 and an average price of $292 (3-day passes $287/$571). But be sure to keep checking back for the latest updates on the availability of Lionel Richie tickets.
Alongside a support slot from Gnarls Barkley soulman Cee Lo Green, fans can look forward to hearing the best of Richie’s back catalogue including number ones from both his solo career (“Say You, Say Me,” “Hello”) and his time in The Commodores (“3 Times A Lady,” “Still”), party anthems “Dancing On The Ceiling” and “All Night Long,” and a rendition of “We Are The World,” the USA For Africa charity single he co-wrote with Michael Jackson.
