One Direction has been one of the most talked about boy band groups over the past few years in both the states and across the pond in their native country. Thankfully for American fans, they will be embarking on a North American stadium tour in 2014. For those in New York City and the greater New York/ New Jersey area, 1D will be in the area in early August, stopping for two shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Here’s a ticket preview for these two shows…
The first show will take place on August 4th. The average ticket price for this concert is currently $427 with a get-in price of $117. One Direction tickets for floor seats have an average ticket price of $900, but the cheapest is only $227. If you’re looking to get as close as possible to Harry and co., the most expensive ticket will cost you $4,895, or a little higher than the average ticket price most paid for tickets to the Super Bowl at MetLife.
For the second and final show at MetLife, ticket prices are a little bit cheaper but not by much. According to Razorgator, the average ticket price for this event is going to $409 while the get-in price is $107, ten dollars cheaper than the August 4th show. Floor seats begin at $160 with an average ticket price of $817, a pretty significant drop from the previous night’s show. If you’re looking for a bargain, clearly the Tuesday, August 5th show is the way to go and provides for the best opportunity to grab a great deal.
1D will be touring all across the United States, but the MetLife Stadium shows will undoubtedly garner a lot of attention, as all New York events typically do. If you’re a One Direction fan, make sure to take advantage of this potentially once in a lifetime event and enjoy the show!
