UConn Men's Basketball Look To Close Out Season Strong
February 3, 2014
Lost in the conference realignment sweepstakes has the University of Connecticut who may have gotten the worst outcome of any school, as they didn’t get to move up to another power conference and had to leave the Big East where it had so much success in years past. However all that hasn’t stopped the three time NCAA National Champion UConn Huskies from continuing to play great basketball this year as they are out to a 16-4 record as we begin to wind down the second half of the season.
The Huskies are led by Shabazz Napier and already have a statement wins over the Florida Gators who are currently ranked #3 in the entire country and at the time, the #17 ranked Memphis Tigers. The Huskies have rigorous schedule with 11 games remaining before beginning the American Athletic Conference tournament in Memphis. Of those 11 games, five are on the road, four are against ranked teams with two of those games coming at home, where they average $111 for UConn Mens basketball tickets.
The Huskies will first have to get by Houston before traveling to Cincinnati to play the #13 Bearcats on the road, the first of a home and home season series. UConn’s biggest home game comes when they play the #22 Memphis Tigers again on February 15th for which tickets are more than double normal ticket prices clocking in at $235. To put that in comparison when the Huskies play the higher ranked Cincinnati Bearcats on March 1st tickets are just $64, thats 1/4 as much as when they host Memphis! UConn faithful who are looking to go to that huge showdown against Memphis but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg to go are in luck as you can Get-in to that game for just $13.
