2014 SXSW Lineup & News Overview

(UPDATE) It was announced today that Lady Gaga will be performing at SXSW this year. The Queen monster will headline at Stubb’s on Thursday the 13th. This will be the  first time she makes an appearance at the Austin, TX-based festival.

Also, a group of new performers have been added to the SXSW lineup, those artists include Kendrick Lamar, Green Day side-project Foxboro Hot Tubs, Nas, Tyler the Creator, ASAP Mob, Cloud Nothings, Blondie, X, Albert Hammond Jr., Migos, MØ, Poliça, BANKS, Tokyo Police Club, SOHN, Merchandise, Mark McGuire, Sophie, and Chunk Inglish. These updates are sure to make SXSW tickets an even hotter commodity on the secondary market. As of Thursday morning, South By Southwest tickets can be had for an average price of $1,567, with lower priced passes starting at $605.

(UPDATE) Some more SXSW news has surfaced as Jack White's Third Man Records will be staging three showcases during the week.  Here's a breakdown of the three showcases, and the full SXSW lineup can be found on the bottom of the page.

On March 13th, Soundgarden will perform the Superunknown album in full for the first time ever when they appear at iTunes Festival, which is a new SXSW offshoot. The album, which is celebrating it's 20th anniversary, was Soundgarden's biggest hit and includes hit singles "Fell on Black Days," "Black Hole Sun" and "Spoonman." To commemorate the 20th anniversary that band will also release a deluxe reissue. SXSW tickets are currently available on our homepage with passes currently averaging $1274.89 a pop which grants access to all SXSW Music Events

Other acts performing at this year's iTunes festival include Coldplay, London Grammar, Imagine Dragons, Pitbull, Zedd, Keith Urban and Willie Nelson, with more acts being announced in the near future.
