Scottish post-rock band Mogwai are crossing the pond this spring and are touring the U.S. and Canada. This in support of their eighth studio album, the electronic sounding and krautrock influenced Rave Tapes which came out back in January. The Glasgow band are touring North America until the end of May. The tour starts in Texas before moving east to Louisiana and Florida including a show at the Civic Theatre in New Orleans on April 27th which has the lowest average ticket price of the tour. At only $47, that is 52% lower than the tour average ticket price of $96.88.
Heading up the east coast, Mogwai plays the 9:30 club in Washington DC on May 7th. Fans in the area looking to save money may want to buy their Mogwai Tickets for the May 8th show in Philadelphia at Union Transfer as the DC show is the most expensive of the tour with an average ticket price of $154. Mogwai plays Terminal 5 in New York City on May 9th and the Boston House of Blues on May 10th before heading up to Canada. After a Montreal and Toronto show the band hits the midwest including a May 16th show at the Vic Theatre in Chicago. Mogwai heads to the northwest on May 23rd where they play the popular Sasquatch Music Festival in George, Washington. On May 24th Mogwai plays the legendary Roseland Theatre in Portland, Oregon and then ends the North American leg of their tour in Vancouver, Canada at the Vogue Theatre.
After that they will then head to Europe for the rest of their tour throughout the summer where they will end with a homecoming show in Glasgow on August 30th. Full List of North American dates listed below:
