O.A.R. & Phillip Phillips Join Forces For 25-City Co-Headlining Tour

April 1, 2014

Both set to unveil new albums in 2014, one of the most popular American Idol winners is joining forces with one of the most popular American jam bands this summer following the release of Phillip Phillips and O.A.R. tickets for a 25-city co-headlining trek.

Kicking off at St. Louis Fox Theatre on June 12, just two days after the Maryland quintet drop their eighth studio effort, The Rockville LP, the tour will take in the likes of Cleveland’s Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica on Jun 20, Mashantucket’s Foxwoods Resort Casino on July 6 and Philadelphia’s Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing on Jul 18 before wrapping up at Atlanta’s Chastain Park Amphitheatre on Jul 26.

Fans will have to wait until next week to get their hands on O.A.R. and Phillip Phillips tickets. However, there are still hundreds of O.A.R. tickets available on TicketIQ for several of the remaining dates of their current Extended Stay tour including their three-night stints at West Hollywood’s The Troubadour on May 2 (get-in price $37/average price $96), 3 ($55/$88) and 4 ($45/$95) and San Francisco’s The Independent on May 9 ($55/$110), 10 ($55/$100) and 11 ($89/$161).

While Phillip Phillips tickets for the 23-year-old’s one-off date at Hobbs’ Lea County Event Center on June 7, less than three weeks after the Season 11 winner of the hit Fox talent show releases his sophomore, Behind The Light, are still up for grabs at $105/$328.

Those with O.A.R. tickets for the band’s recent shows have been treated to several new songs from their forthcoming LP alongside their sole US Hot 100 hit “Shattered (Turn The Car Around),” their debut single, “Hey Girl,” and a rendition of Led Zeppelin’s “Fool In The Rain.” While those who bought Phillip Phillips tickets for his 2014 solo Canadian run got to hear covers of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” as well as all the highlights from his US No.4 debut, The World From The Side Of The Moon.
