Top 5 "Other" Events Of The Week (4/7)

There are plenty of events going on this week for golf fans, musical fanatics, and college basketball to enjoy.  This week includes the biggest golf tournament of the year as The Masters begins Thursday April 10 as well as the conclusion of the unpredictable NCAA College Men’s Basketball tournament, with a mixture of a musical and shows to purchase tickets that are also coming up this week.

The Masters is one of the most respected championship tournaments in all of sports. Played each April at the lush Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.   This prestigious event is one of the few golf tournaments that gets even the casual golf fans interest.  The 4 day tournament begins on April 10 and it’s one of the hottest tickets this week.  Ticket prices to the Masters have not changed this past week.

Il Divo will be performing their Musical Affair album live at Benaroya Hall in Seattle, Washington.  The successful English multinational oporative pop vocal group were initially formed in the United Kingdom and created by music manager Simon Cowell.  To date, they have sold over 26 million albums worldwide. II Divo tickets are in high demand and the price has gone up 20 % as the event nears.

4/7/14- NCAA Men’s Final Four Session 2: Championship Game | Avg. Price: $285 | Get in Price: $40

This year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship tickets are down 50 % as the game nears that features a matchup between two teams who were not expected to reach this point.  Number 8 seed Kentucky Wildcats will look to continue its great run with a championship victory over the number 7 seed UConn Huskies. Can the fab five freshman of the Wildcats overcome the more experienced Huskie team? Or will the Huskies add another National Championship to their resume after being banned from last year’s tournament by the NCAA. The game will be played at the AT&T stadium in Arlington, Texas

The NCAA Men’s Frozen Four will be held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia for the semifinals and championship match.  Frozen Four tickets are down 10 % over the past week.  The semifinal matchups will include Union, NY vs Boston College and Minnesota vs North Dakota.  Winners of each game will move on to the championship match on April 12.
