Top 5 MLS Tickets Of The Week (4/14)

The MLS season is still relatively new.  Most teams have not played more than six games since the start of the year, teams like the New York Red Bulls and Portland Timbers who were projected to be the two best teams in their respective conferences are still winless.  Columbus Crew is considered as the number 1 team in the power rankings, but not by much and a lot can change as the season moves on.  The top five MLS matchups of the week bring some intriguing games to the early part of the season.

4/19/14- Los Angeles Galaxy vs Vancouver Whitecaps | Avg. Price: $64 | Get in Price: $25

The Vancouver Whitecaps will host the LA Galaxy in a matchup between two teams in the Western Conference.  This is a rematch of from last Saturday’s game where the Galaxy defeated the Whitecaps 1-0. Defending MLS Cup Champions Sporting KC are off to ok start, but have not yet displayed that championship form.  The Montreal Impact desperately need a win, as they are still winless this season and it only gets tougher for this squad as they head south to take on the defending champs.  Sporting KC tickets for this game have an average price of $58.88 with an affordable get in price of $30, as tickets are down 6% this week.

4/19/14-Portland Timbers vs Real Salt Lake | Avg. Price: $45 | Get in Price: $21

Real Salt Lake remains the lone unbeaten team in the MLS as they will host a winless Portland Timbers team.  The Timbers are off to a surprising rocky start going winless in 6 games despite winning their conference last season.  Real Salt Lake tickets have an average ticket price for this matchup of $45, down 4% for this week with a get in price of $21.

4/19/14- Seattle Sounders FC vs Chivas USA | Avg. Price: $44 | Get in Price: $26

The Chivas were one of the 2 worst teams in the league last season with only 6 wins, not much has changed at the start of this year as they only have 1 win through 6 games.  Meanwhile, the Seattle Sounders FC have been solid team and have shown promise but there’s still a long way to go as they visit the Chivas at the StubHub Center.  Chivas USA tickets have an average ticket price of $44 for this matchup as tickets are down 8% with just a get in price of $26.

4/19/14- Houston Dynamo vs Philadelphia Union | Avg. Price: $43 | Get in Price: $19

This is matchup between two Eastern Conference teams that have gotten off to slow starts.  The Philadelphia Union will play host to the Houston Dynamo with Philadelphia Union tickets for this game have an average price of $43, tickets are down 1% with only a get in price of $19.

The MLS season is just getting started as the weeks go by it will be a more clearer picture of which team is the class of the league.
