Jason Mraz Adds More Summer Tour Dates

June 24, 2014

Jason Mraz recently announced his intentions to do what only two other major label artists have done before: play all 5 boroughs in New York City on one tour. He'll take Raining Jane with him for the “Five Boroughs Tour” from September 17th through 23rd. The NYC run through comes in the midst of his “Yes!” tour and encompasses smaller theaters before two blow-out shows at midtown Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall.

Mraz's historic run will put him in elite company. The other two to accomplish this feat? David Bowie and The Beastie Boys.

Jason Mraz Says Yes! To Intimate Summer Tour

Scheduled to support his upcoming fifth studio effort, Yes!, one of America’s most popular male solo artists will head out on an acoustic tour this summer following the release of Jason Mraz tickets for twelve dates across North America.

The 37-year-old, who recently premiered a short film, We Can Take The Long Way, showcasing several songs from his new record (“Love Someone,” “Hello, You Beautiful Thing,” “Long Drive”), will first take to the stage in his adopted hometown of San Diego for shows at the Civic Theatre on August 21 and 22.

Style: "Neutral"

Mraz, who has also announced a string of European dates across the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands, will then take in the likes of San Francisco’s Davies Symphony Hall on Aug 25/26, Hollywood’s Pantages Theatre on Aug 28/29 and Dallas’ Winspear Opera House on September 2/3, before wrapping up at Austin’s Bass Concert Hall on Sept 7.

The singer-songwriter will be joined on the Yes! tour by Raining Jane, the Californian folk-rock female quartet who he’s also heavily collaborated with on his new album. Fans with Jason Mraz tickets should therefore look forward to hearing all of its highlights alongside stripped-back renditions of his US Top 10 hits “I Won’t Give Up” and “I’m Yours” and the Grammy-winning “Make It Mine.”

Jason Mraz tickets for the tour, which is expected to extend to Asia, Australia and South America before returning to the U.S. next year, are due to go on sale this week. Currently we have a limited quantity for several shows, but more will be added in the coming days and weeks. So be sure to keep checking back on TicketIQ for the chance to hear Mraz’s laid-back blend of folk, pop and soft-rock in a unique intimate setting.
