In what has been a turbulent year for the defending champs, the Boston Red Sox will hope to turn their season around this weekend when they host the Cleveland Indians and former manager Terry Francona for four games at Fenway Park. This series will be the second time the Indians appear on the Red Sox schedule. The opening series saw the Indians take all three games at Progressive Field in Cleveland. On the secondary market, the season average for Boston Red Sox tickets is $145.57, and two of the four games will see an average price below this number. The series as a whole is 10.4% below the season average.

Tomlin will have the edge coming into tonight’s game as he’s yet to allow more than three runs in a start this year and has gone 4-2 with a 3.12 ERA over six starts. Lester suffered a poor outing in his last start, pitching just 4.1 innings and allowing 12 hits and five earned runs. The southpaw has gone 6-7 with a 3.52 ERA this season.

The second game of the series will be played Friday night and will feature John Lackey against the Indians’ Justin Masterson. The average price on June 13 is $91.37, the lowest of the series and 37.23% below seasonal average. The get-in price is currently $28. Lackey has gone 7-4 with a 3.18 ERA over 13 starts while Masterson has turned his season around in June, holding a 1.42 ERA and 16 strikeouts through two starts this month.

6/14 - T.J. House vs Jake Peavy | Avg. Price: $159.22 | Get-in Price: $52

Saturday afternoon’s game will have an average price of $159.22 and get-in price of $52, the highest of the series. Jake Peavy will get the nod for the Sox while lefty T.J. House starts for the Indians. Peavy has struggled all season long, posting just one win through 13 starts and a 4.76 ERA. House has also had his share of poor starts as he’s gone just 0-1 with a 5.24 ERA over 22.1 innings this season.

6/15 - Corey Kluber vs Brandon Workman | Avg. Price: $165.40 | Get-in: $49

The series finale will allow all kids in attendance to run the bases following the game. The average price  is currently $165.40, the highest of the series and 13.62% above season average, with a get-in price of $49. Red Sox pitcher Brandon Workman will start against the Indians’ Corey Kluber. Workman will be coming off a career start, pitching 6.2 scoreless innings against the Orioles June 10. Kluber has found success this year as he’s gone 6-4 with a 3.35 ERA over 14 starts this season.
