Slayer, Exodus & Suicidal Tendencies Join Forces For North American Tour

Fans of Californian thrash bands can look forward to ‘a heavy metal collision of epic proportions’ later this year following the release of Slayer tickets for a North American tour which will also see Exodus and Suicidal Tendencies act as support.

The trio of rock veterans had already joined forces for a handful of dates last month but have now confirmed that they will hit the road together once again for a full-length 18-date trek which kicks off at Oakland’s Fox Theatre on November 12 and wraps up at Detroit’s The Fillmore on December 5.

There are hundreds of Slayer tickets currently available on TicketIQ with the Nov 28 gig at the Worcester Palladium the lowest get-in price at $105 (average price $195) and the Nov 17 show at Oklahoma City’s Coca-Cola Bricktown Event Center the cheapest average price at $143 (get-in price $139).

Slayer, who are currently in the midst of a European tour which will take in the UK’s Sonisphere, Germany’s Wacken Open Air and Austria’s See-Rock Festival, are also due to perform at both the Chicago (September 12-14) and Denver (Sept 17-19) legs of the Riot Fest, with three day passes for the former up for grabs on TicketIQ at a get-in price of $207 and average price of $382.

Alongside opening sets from Exodus and Suicidal Tendencies, both of whom have recently recruited new members in the shape of former frontman Steve Souza and drummer Thomas Pridgen respectively, those with Slayer tickets should also look forward to hearing the best of the five-time Grammy nominees’ back catalogue as well as several new tracks from next year’s eleventh studio effort - their first in two decades without regular producer Rick Rubin.
