The Misfits & Samhain Each Embark On 2014 Fall Tours

One of punk rock's most beloved bands and brands will hit the road again in 2014 with the release of Misfits tickets for a fall tour. The current incarnation of the band is fronted by original bassist Jerry Only along with former Black Flag vocalist/guitarist Dez Cadena and ex-Murphy's Law drummer Eric Arce.
Primarily focusing on the group's latter material along with select covers, the Misfits will perform on a string of festivals before their headlining tour starts October 14th in Minneapolis. The band returns to the east coast for late October including what's considered a hometown show October 25th at the Starland Ballroom. The band will make a rare appearance at the Puerto Rico Comic Con to kick off November and then focus on the West Coast with 5 shows in California. Afterwards, the band truly embarks on a punk rock tour schedule, see-sawing throughout the country with little rhyme or reason, finally concluding at the Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie and Pittsburgh's Altar Bar. Additionally, the band has announced a small tour in Mexico and back to back German dates.
In related Misfits news, former frontman Glen Danzig will reunite with the demonic punk band Samhain for a 7-date tour centered around Halloween. The initial reunion takes place at the Chicago Riotfest and is highlighted by the Housecore Horrorfest in Austin and November 1st (Samhain Night) at Times Square's Best Buy Theatre. Thus far, Samhain tickets average $67.35 on the secondary market as compared to the Misfits tour average of $60.73.
