More than a quarter of a century after it first began, the record-breaking Never Ending Tour will once again hit North America this fall following the release of Bob Dylan tickets for a series of residencies and one-night stands.
The legendary singer-songwriter, who has performed over 2600 shows since the tour kicked off in Concord back in 1988, is currently in the midst of an Australian and New Zealand trek but will return to his homeland’s stage on October 17 for the first of three consecutive nights at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre.
The 73-year-old, who last hit the States as part of the 2013 Americanarama tour with Wilco and My Morning Jacket, will then take in multi-night runs at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre on Oct 24-26 and Minneapolis’ Orpheum Theater on November 4-6 and single shows at the likes of Portland’s Keller Auditorium on Oct 21, Denver’s Bellco Theatre on Nov 1 and the Providence Performing Arts Center on Nov 15.
The eleven-time Grammy winner, who this week also announced that the six-disc boxset, The Basement Tapes Complete, will hit stores on Nov 4, will then conclude the tour’s latest leg with a four-night stint at New York’s Beacon Theatre (Nov 28/29 and Dec 1/2) - tickets for which are available on TicketIQ at a get-in price of $201.
Bob Dylan tickets are also on offer for his one-off shows at Cleveland’s State Theatre on Nov 12 ($126) and Washington’s DAR Constitution Hall on Nov 25 ($126), his only Canadian dates at Toronto’s Sony Centre for the Performing Arts on Nov 17 ($209) and 18 ($230) and his residency at Philadelphia’s Academy of Music on Nov 21-23 (all $116), as well as the highest-priced gigs at Chicago’s Cadillac Palace on Nov 8 ($388) and 9 ($399).
The counter-culture icon has been largely focusing on his more contemporary back catalogue as of late. However, fans with Bob Dylan tickets should still expect to hear the odd classic, with the likes of “All Along The Watchtower,” “Blowin’ In The Wind” and “She Belongs To Me” all cropping up on recent set-lists.

Bob Dylan’s Never Ending Tour Rolls On For Another Year
The clue might be in the name but it’s still remarkable as to just how long Bob Dylan’s Never Ending Tour has continued to roll on. Indeed, the folk icon will take to the stage for the 25th year in a row this April following the release of Bob Dylan tickets for the 2013 leg of his enduring live roadshow.
Kicking off at Buffalo’s SUNY Alumni Arena on April 5th, the 71-year-old will perform a further 21 shows at the likes of Lowell’s Paul E. Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell on April 9th, St. Louis’ Peabody Opera House on April 23rd and Charlotte’s Time Warner Cable Uptown Amphitheatre on May 1st before concluding the North American leg at the Saint Augustine Amphitheatre on May 5th.
Such is the high demand for Bob Dylan tickets that only three shows are currently available, with a tour average price of $134. Just 41 tickets remain for the April 6th date at Amherst’s Mullins Center with a get-in price of $55 and an average price of $118; 316 are still on offer for the April 8th show at Kingston’s Ryan Center ($83/$154); while 30 are left for the Apr 19 gig at Akron’s E.J. Thomas Hall ($97/$127).
After recruiting an eclectic array of talent including Garbage, Leon Russell and Mark Knopfler to open for him during 2012, Dylan will be joined by Californian folk-rock quartet Dawes this time round, except for the shows at Murray’s CFSB Center on April 27th and The Louisville Palace on April 28th, where Tennessee Southern rock outfit The Wild Feathers will briefly take over support act duties.
Of course, if last year’s tour is anything to go by, then it’s unlikely Dylan will be reaching for his pipe and slippers before Spring is over. The Voice Of A Generation eventually went onto play 86 dates across 2012 (incredibly, his fewest in a calendar year since 1996) including headline performances at the UK’s Hop Farm Festival, Switzerland’s Montreux Jazz Festival and Spain’s Festival Internacional de Benicassim alongside his first series of South American dates in four years and his first ever show in Central America at Costa Rica’s Heredia Palacio de los Deportes.
And judging by the set-lists, there are certain classics that fans with Bob Dylan tickets should be able to bank their house on hearing. “Ballad Of A Thin Man,” “Like A Rolling Stone,” “Highway 61 Revisited” and “Tangled Up In Blue” were performed on every single date, while the likes of “All Along The Watchtower,” “Blowin’ In The Wind” and the Academy Award-winning “Things Have Changed” were also near ever-presents. But with last September’s Tempest receiving some of the best reviews of his career, expect the odd number from his 35th studio album to make an appearance too on what has regularly become one of the most hotly-anticipated touring events of the year.
