September 16, 2014
Electronic music forefather Gary Numan is set for a rare North American tour in late 2014. Entitled the Splinter Tour after the critically acclaimed 2013 release and it's 2014 follow up EP I Am Dust, Numan will begin on the West Coast with a double shot in California at Pomona's Glasshouse and Petaluma's McNears Mystic.
On the way up to Canada, the synth mastermind will stop at the Roseland Theatre in Portland and Seattle Ballroom's Neptune Ballroom. The Canadian portion makes up 50% of the tour schedule and includes Vancouver, Halloween eve at Flames in Calgary, the Union Hall in Edmonton on Halloween night, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg.
Two mid-west shows close out the set with November 5th at the Blue Moose in Iowa City and a feature slot at Austin's Fun Fun Fun Festival on Sunday November 8th alongside Judas Priest, Nas, Neutral Milk Hotel, Modest Mouse, King Diamond, Death From Above 1979, Mineral, and more.
