Lana Del Rey Launches Biggest Ever North American Tour
Currently gearing up for the release of her second major-label album, pop’s premier femme fatale has now announced that Lana Del Rey tickets will go on sale for the biggest North American tour of her career.
The 27-year-old, who is expected to drop the follow-up to 2012’s multi-million-selling Born To Die this spring, had already confirmed last month that she would hit the road for three headlining gigs surrounding her two sets at Coachella.
But the New Yorker has now added an extra 16 shows to her live itinerary, starting at the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie on April 23 and finishing up at Seattle’s WaMu Theater on May 27, with more dates expected to follow.
Fans can now get their hands on Lana Del Rey tickets for the tour’s opening week on TicketIQ with the Apr 11 gig at Las Vegas’ The Cosmopolitan listed at a get-in price of $249 and an average price of $491 and the performances at Phoenix’s Comerica Theatre on Apr 15 and San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on April 18 on offer at $108/$312 and $120/$1343 respectively.
Scheduled to appear at this year’s Coachella on Apr 13 and 20, three-day passes are also available for the festival’s first weekend ($490/$1086) and the second ($506/$858), as are tickets for her headline slot at Columbia’s Sweetlife Music Festival on May 10 ($136/$243). But be sure to keep checking back for the latest ticket information on the remainder of Del Rey’s tour.
Alongside new material from her forthcoming LP, Ultraviolence, those with Lana Del Rey tickets should also look forward to hearing her US Hot 100 hits “Video Games,” “Ride” and “Summertime Sadness,” her cover of dream-pop standard “Blue Velvet” and her contributions to The Great Gatsby (“Young and Beautiful”) and Maleficent (“Once Upon A Dream”) soundtracks.
