Dates Announced For A 2015 Cursive Tour

(UPDATE - 1/9) Punk trio and Philadelphia native Beach Slang will be opening for Cursive’s “Ugly Organ” tour in February and March. The average ticket price for these shows is set at $62.58 with the most expensive date at Bowery Ballroom in New York City on March 11th with prices at $72.69. The cheapest date on the tour with Beach Slang is on February 14th at the Neumos in Seattle, Washington with a price of $54.25.

Emo legends Cursive are going on tour early next year to the delight of fans nationwide. After releasing I Am Gemini in 2012 the band are reissuing their 2003 beloved record The Ugly Organ as a double LP. While that record was notable for featuring cellist Gretta Cohn, a different as of yet unannounced cellist will play with Cursive live on this tour.

The tour kicks off on February 10th in Denver Colorado at the Bluebird Theater. The tour heads to the pacific northwest with show on the 14th in Seattle at the Neumos Crystal Ball Reading Room and on the 15th in Portland where they will play the Doug Fir Lounge. Heading south down the west coast Cursive stopes in Los Angeles on February 20th for a show at the Echoplex. On the 27th the band will head to emo band haven Austin, Texas for a show at The Mohawk. On March 1st the tour stays in Texas with a show in Houston at Fitzgeralds. On March 10th and 11th Cursive will play two shows in New York City at Bowery Ballroom. Cursive tickets have a face value of only $20 and may sell out quickly.

After a show in Chicago on the 18th at Lincoln Hall the tour comes to an end in Cursive’s hometown of Omaha, Nebraska which is also the birthplace of frontman Tim Kasher’s label Saddle Creek Records. A full list of dates can be found listed below:
