Gang of Four Announce New Album And 2015 Tour Dates
November 13, 2014
Dance punk innovators Gang of Four will return to US stages in 2015 for the first time in 4 years. While the band is down to just one member of the original four, guitarist Andy Gill has recruited a number of euro-indie artists to handle vocal and instrument duties on the forthcoming “What Happens Next” album.
Gill will be joined by Herbert Gronmeyer, Robbie Furze, Alison Mossheart, and Hotel to name a few on the new album preceded by single “Broken Talk”.
Despite a live lineup not yet being finalized, Gill will recruit 3 (or more) musicians for a 15 city North American tour this coming March. The tour follows pairs of performances in England and France this winter.
The North American leg of the tour is highlighted by classic Punk Rock venues including Washington DC's 9:30 Club and New York's Irving Plaza. Pre-sale tickets for all dates begin on November 12th, with general public on sale Friday November 14th via Live Nation.
