Who says seeing your favorite band or team has to be expensive? For the more budget-sensitive consumer, we've compiled the top events this weekend with an average secondary market ticket price below $30.

November 8th – Southern Methodist University Mustangs @ Tulsa Golden Hurricane (Football)
Average ticket price: $9, Get-in price: $3, Trend: Down 49%

Putting it bluntly, it's been a rough year for both Tulsa and SMU. After winning their season opener vs Tulane 38-31, the Golden Hurricane has lost 7 straight by an average of 20 points. Despite all the struggles, things have arguably been even worse for the SMU Mustangs at 0-7. The two teams will collide on Saturday in which one mean must be victorious. November 9th – Philadelphia Flyers Open Practice @ Boardwalk Hall Arena
Average ticket price: $17, Get-in price: $4, Trend: Down 29%

Taking advantage of some extended time off, the Flyers have decided to give back to their fans not necessarily in the Philadelphia market. When the announcement of a free, but ticketed open practice at Boardwalk Hall Arena was made, the event quickly sold out. Despite the sellout, fans whom cant attend and brokers aren't looking to turn a huge profit, with the cheapest tickets available just $4.

November 9th – Walsh Cavaliers @ Ohio State Buckeyes (Basketball)
Average ticket price: $25, Get-in price: $2, Trend: Down 9%

With Ohio State currently ranked number 20 in both the AP Top 25 and USA Today Coaches Poll, they are certainly expected to have a strong season. Sunday's exhibition vs Walsh at the Schottenstein Center has a get-in price of just $2. And with a 4:00pm start time, it'll allow fans the necessary recovery time to nurse their hangover after watching Buckeyes football square off against Michigan State on Saturday night.

November 7th – Milwaukee Bucks @ Detroit Pistons
Average ticket price: $27, Get-in price: $3, Trend: Down 32%

Friday night's game at the Palace of Auburn Hills is the only professional basketball game to make our list. While both teams are expected to struggle at the bottom of the Central Division, fans will get to see top rookie Jabari Parker in action. With the cheapest seats available just $3, the showcase of the future star is certainly worth the price of admission.

November 8th – American Authors @ The Trocadero
Average ticket price: $28, Get-in price: $11, Trend: Down 5%

Riding the waves of success following their lead single “Best Day Of My Life”, American Authors were selected to headline the fall portion of the Honda Civic Tour. Saturday's stop at the Trocadero in Philadelphia is the cheapest remaining date, carrying an average ticket price of just $29. At a capacity of just 2200, fans of American Authors can catch an intimate performance for as low as $11.
