Top Metal/Hard Rock Concert Tickets Of The Week (11/3)

This week’s top metal and rock shows kick off with the legendary Kiss on the 7th at the Joint in Las Vegas. Metal heads Arch Enemy and Gwar featuring new vocalists have shows this week which are sure to be brutal. Hard rock outfit Stained has a show as well as the very popular Australian psych rock quartet Tame Impala.
11/7 Kiss at the Joint Avg. Price $281.97 Get-in: $132.00
Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and the rest of Kiss are playing the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on the 7th this week. The most recent inductees of the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, have not released an album since 2012’s Monster but still play a wide collection of songs including many fan favorites including “Rock and Roll all Night” and “Detroit Rock City”. The average ticket price is set at $281.97 but the lowest get-in price to the Joint is at $132.00. Kiss has a residency at the Joint and will be playing there multiple times throughout November.
11/9 Tame Impala at Beacon Theater Avg. Price $273.58 Get-in: $49
The Psychedelic rock band from Australia is playing the Beacon Theater in New York City on the 9th. The show has an average ticket price of $273.58 but has a low get-in price of only $49. The band still haven’t released a new studio record since their breakthrough album Lonerism back in 2012 but expect to hear some new material. Tame Impala will also play the Beacon Theater on the 10th and then will head to the west coast on the 12th to pay Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall.
11/8 Arch Enemy at the Hawthorne Theatre
Swedish death metal band Arch Enemy are playing the Hawthorne Theatre in Portland, Oregon on the 8th this week. The band released their ninth studio album The War Eternal back in June and are on tour with fellow metal bands Huntress and Kreator. Arch Enemy then will play three shows in California next week San Francisco on the 10th, Hollywood on the 11th, and Anaheim on the 12th.
11/8 Staind at the Tropicana Casino
Staind are playing at the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City this week on the 8th. The band who surprised some fans with their self-titled records alt-metal sound which they released a few years ago, are due to release a new album early next year. The next day on the 9th the band will play Sayreville, New Jersey at the Starland Ballroom, not far at all from Atlantic City. Expect to hear some new songs and keep an ear out for an official album announcement.
11/8 Gwar at the Great Saltair
The shock rockers in Gwar are playing the Great Saltair in Salt Lake City, Utah on the 8th. The band has a new lineup in the wake of the death of lead singer Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus) earlier this year. The band is now lead by guitarist and Michael Bishop as Blothar and singer Kim Dylla (Vulvatron). Look to hear new takes on many old classics, some songs off last years Battle Maximus and most likely a cover of Pet Shop Boys “West End Girl”s which they played on AV Clubs undercover show.
