U2, Smashing Pumpkins & Linkin Park Lead KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas 2014 Lineup
November 12, 2014
(UPDATE) Due to Bono's health after a bicycle accident which has caused him to miss a number of appearances, U2's The Edge recently made clear the band would not be able to perform at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas but remain on schedule for their 2015 iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour.
Earlier today, KROQ announced that Anaheim's own No Doubt will be replacing U2 in the lineup. This could be the dry run for a long-rumored No Doubt reunion tour in 2015.

U2, Smashing Pumpkins and Linkin Park will all head to Inglewood next month following the official line-up announcement and release of KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas tickets for the radio station’s 25th annual event.
Staged at The Forum over the weekend of December 13-14, the feast of alternative rock will welcome a total of 18 acts, nine each night, performing the best of their back catalogues in a stripped-back style.
After causing a wave of controversy with their unorthodox iTunes release strategy for new album, Songs of Innocence, U2 will be hoping to steer the focus back onto their music with their first official live show of the year.

Fans with KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas tickets can also look forward to sets from emerging talent such as garage rock duo Royal Blood and singer-songwriter Vance Joy, with New Politics, Rise Against, System of a Down, Incubus, Walk The Moon, Imagine Dragons, Alt-J and Modest Mouse completing perhaps the most impressive line-up in the festival’s history.
KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas tickets, proceeds from which will benefit local charities Para Los Ninos and the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center, are expected to go on sale any time soon. So be sure to keep checking back on TicketIQ for the latest information on what promises to be one of the coolest festive celebrations in 2014.
