The Pinstripe Bowl, which will be played on December 27th at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York, will pit Boston College (7-5) against the Penn State Nittany Lions (6-6). Both teams have had inconsistent seasons and largely failed to meet expectations. Boston College started the season 3-1, which included an impressive home victory over the USC Trojans. Boston College nearly upset Florida State, but fell short in the fourth quarter and fell 20-17. Boston College finished fourth in the ACC Atlantic Division by going 4-4 in conference play. Boston College is led by ex-Florida Gators quarterback transfer Tyler Murphy. Murphy threw for 1,526 passing yards and eleven touchdowns while rushing for 1,079 yards and ten touchdowns. Given the popularity of their opponent, fans can expect to pay top ticket prices for this match-up, in fact, the highest Pinstripe Bowl ticket prices in 5 years. [embedit cf="HTML1"]
