The NBA season heads into the New Year as the midway point of the season quickly approaches, though the top NBA tickets this week won’t be as expensive as last week’s highest-priced games on the secondary market. There are still four top games with asking average prices of over $300 as Knicks tickets against the Detroit Pistons this Friday are this week’s top-priced secondary NBA ticket. 1/2/15 - Detroit Pistons @ New York Knicks | Avg. Price: $376.70 | Get in Price: $91

This week’s top-priced NBA ticket is an Eastern Conference matchup between the New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons at Madison Square Garden. New York has lost the most games in the league with 28 and are currently on an eight-game losing streak. Detroit hasn’t been much better and has only won seven games this year but have won their last two games, including blowing out the Cavaliers at Cleveland in their last outing. Knicks tickets for this game have a current average price of $376.70 on the secondary market, with a get in price of $91. Tickets are now up 15% over the past week.

12/30/14 - Brooklyn Nets @ Chicago Bulls | Avg. Price: $319.84 | Get in Price: $63 

Another top-priced Eastern Conference game takes place tomorrow night as the Chicago Bulls welcome the Brooklyn Nets at the United Center. The Bulls currently hold the top spot in the Central Division and are on a current six-game winning streak. Nets vs Bulls tickets have a current secondary average price of $319.84 and get-in price starts at $63.

12/31/14 - Milwaukee Bucks @ Cleveland Cavaliers | Avg. Price: $302.53 | Get in Price: $50 

The Cleveland Cavaliers will look to rebound this week after an embarrassing loss to Detroit at home in their last outing. Cleveland will host a much improved Milwaukee Bucks teams this Wednesday at the Quicken Loans Arena. The Brooklyn Nets will host the Sacramento Kings tonight at Barclay’s Center in an East vs West matchup as both teams have been struggling to win games consistently all season long. The secondary average price for Nets tickets tonight is $302.09, with a get in price of $57 as tickets are now up 57% over the past week.

The Los Angeles Lakers represent the Western Conference team with a top-priced NBA ticket this week as they host the Memphis Grizzlies at the Staples Center. The average price for Lakers vs Grizzlies tickets is $273.45 and get-in price is listed at $50. Despite their poor start over the season’s first three months, the Lakers continue to appear on the most expensive games list.
