Top Budget Events Of The Week (12/29)

December 31, 2014

With the new year just around the corner, your New Year's Eve plans may be running your pockets a little dry. Luckily, TicketIQ has found the top budget friendly events going on this weekend including hoops, pucks, elephants, and cars that go boom. (tickets for all of these events can be found at the bottom of this post)

1/02/15 – Ringling Bros. And Barnum & Bailey Circus – Amalie Arena

Average Ticket Price: $31, Get-in Price: $22, Trend: Down 11%

What better way to kick off the new year than a family trip to the circus? The world famous Ringling Bros. And Barnum & Bailey Circus will spend some time in Central Florida for the new year and the cheapest performance is this Friday at Tampa's Amalie Arena (formerly the Tampa Bay Times Forum). With a 4 pack of tickets as low as $22 each, a family of four can enjoy the thrills of the circus for under $100.

1/03/15 – Milwaukee Admirals vs. Hamilton Bulldogs – BMO Harris Bradley Center

Average Ticket Price: $31, Get-in Price: $26, Trend: Up 4%

While the Nashville Predators are off to the races in dominance of the NHL's Western Conference, their AHL affiliate Milwaukee Admirals will look to create some space in the standings vs the Hamilton Bulldogs. With an average ticket price of just $31, this is certainly an affordable weekend hockey experience. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will also take home an Admirals winter hat.

1/04/15 – Detroit Pistons vs. Sacramento Kings – The Palace Of Auburn Hills

Average Ticket Price: $34, Get-in Price: $2, Trend: Down 2%

The Pistons are certainly a team that cannot be pinned down. After releasing the high-profile & high-paid Josh Smith, they set a franchise record of 3's in a blowout win over Cleveland. At a get-in price of just $2 for Sunday's game vs Sacramento, you'll certainly be in for a surprise on which level of basketball team will show up. To make up for the lack of consistency, the Palace will have Pistons Snow Globes for fans to take home after the game.

1/03/15 – South Florida Bulls Basketball vs. East Carolina Pirates – USF Sundome

Average Ticket Price: $35, Get-in Price: $14, Trend: Up 22%

While not quite the same matchup as the Birmingham Bowl, East Carolina will find themselves facing a team from Florida for the second time this weekend as the Pirates visit the Bulls for some hoops action on Sunday. Despite ticket demand increasing 22% this week, the average asking price still stands at a very reasonable $35.

1/04/15 – Monster Jam – North Charleston Coliseum

Average Ticket Price: $35, Get-in Price: $29, Trend: Down 2%

A hit with kids, dads, and gear-heads alike, Monster Jam will be in cities like Nashville, Manchester, Houston, Miami, Columbus, and Tacoma this weekend. However, the cheapest performance comes Sunday at the North Charleston Coliseum with an average ticket price of $35. The Sunday matinee offers the perfect environment for father-and-son bonding, or an escape from the NFL playoffs after your favorite team failed to make the post-season. Either way, something's gonna get crushed.
