The Tampa Bay Lightning continue to lead the Atlantic Division with a slight lead over the Red Wings as the Lightning are one of most fun teams to watch with their high powered offense which is first in the league in goals per game and a defense that is vulnerable at times that makes for great drama when watching this team play. Tampa Bay following the All-Star break will be on the road to take on Carolina, as the Lightning will have to improve their defense if they want to get far.
The most expensive game remaining on the Lightning home schedule is a matchup with the Chicago Blackhawks at the Amalie Arena on February 27. Lightning tickets have skyrocketed, currently at an average price of $332.61 on the secondary market. It is the only game on the Lightning home schedule for which tickets have an asking average price of over $300. The get-in price for this game is priced at $74.

There are three games on the Lightning’s remaining home schedule where tickets have an asking average price below $100, but the least expensive game is a January 31 meeting with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Tickets for this game have a current secondary market average price of $76.72, a 42.8% discount below the lightning’s home average which is $134.26. The get in price for the Blue Jackets vs Lightning game is $17.
The Lightning are in good position to make the playoffs but are going to need some breathing room to keep a hold on the Atlantic Division.
