Morrissey Returns To The Stage With 2015 UK Arena Tour

After having to yet again cancel a large portion of a tour due to a variety of health ailments in 2014, Morrissey will attempt to complete a 6-date UK Arena tour in March 2015 to perform songs from his “World Peace Is None Of Your Business” album along with classics from The Smiths catalog.

Morrissey tickets will on sale this Friday, January 16th via Ticketmaster.co.uk. The as-of-now scheduled dates are below:

  • March 13th - Nottingham Capital FM Arena
  • March 14th - Bournemouth International Centre
  • March 18th - Cardiff Motorpoint Arena
  • March 20th - Leeds First Direct Arena
  • March 21st - Glasgow SSE Hydro
  • March 27th - Birmingham Barclaycard Arena

Morrissey Releases “World Peace Is None Of Your Business” Track Listing

Former Smiths frontman, Morrissey recently announced the track listing for his 10th studio album, “World Peace Is None Of Your Business”. The 12 track effort marks his first studio material since 2009's “Years Of Refusal”.

Morrissey's US tour kicks off May 7th in San Jose and he's expected to debut many of these tracks along with classic solo material like “Everyday is Like Sunday” and “The Last Of The Famous International Playboys” along with vintage Smiths anthems such as “How Soon Is Now?” and “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out”.

Morrissey will be joined by special guest Tom Jones on his May 10th performance at the Los Angeles Sports Arena and Cliff Richard for the June 21st tour finale at the Barclays Center. Overall, Morrissey tickets average $155 on the secondary market, while Delaware's Grand Opera House marks the most expensive date.

Ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr toured the US this past fall, and Smiths contemporaries New Order will embark on a mini-North American tour this July. Beyond the set of shows, New Order frontman Peter Hook will hit the road with backing band The Light this fall.
