Top Budget Event Tickets Of The Weekend (1/30)

January 29, 2015

This weekend's budget events primarily take place on Friday – so make sure that calendar is free! Whether you are hoping to laugh, chow down on some wings, chant “YES!”, build a snowman, or discuss your love of birds, we have the event – and on a budget.

1/30 – Harlem Globetrotters at Blue Cross Arena

Average Ticket Price: $18, Get-in Price: $11, Trend: Down 57%

The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters will bring their basketball comedy show to the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester this weekend and Friday's game is the cheapest of the bunch. With a still falling average ticket price of $18, a family of four can snatch the cheapest seats in the building for less than $50 total to see if the Washington Generals can finally claim a second victory.

1/31 – Baltimore Orioles FanFest at Baltimore Convention Center

Average Ticket Price: $21, Get-in Price: $10, Trend: Down 48%

During the off-season, fan fests are one of the highlights of otherwise slow baseball talk. We've already seen fan fests for the Reds, Nats, and others make this list in previous weeks, and this weekend fans can gather at the Baltimore Convention Center to discuss their love of the O's and breakdown the forthcoming Orioles 2015 schedule. With a get-in of just $10, it's likely to be cheaper than any Orioles game this season.

Football Fans And Competitive Eaters Attend Annual "Wing Bowl"

1/30 – 2015 Wing Bowl at Wells Fargo Center

Average Ticket Price: $29, Get-in Price: $7, Trend: Down 27%

Always one of Philadelphia's favorite winter events, the 2015 Wing Bowl will surely not disappoint. In no other city could a chicken wing eating contest fill an arena but Philadelphia. This year's festivities start bright and early, and even celebrities such as Mick Foley (of WWE fame) will be partaking in the contest. At just $7 to get in the door – it's a perfect reason to skip work.

1/30 – WWE: Live at Pan American Center

Average Ticket Price: $34, Get-in Price: $27, Trend: Down 22%

Mick Foley may not be there, but you can catch all the superstars of the WWE at the Pan American Center in New Mexico this Friday night. Highlighted by John Cena vs Seth Rollins, you'll also see the lunatic fringe Dean Ambrose, eater of worlds Bray Wyatt and fan favorite Daniel Bryan. With an average ticket price of $34 – you'll pay about $200 less than the CHEAPEST ticket for this past Sunday's Royal Rumble (and likely leave a LOT happier).

1/30/15 – Disney On Ice: Frozen at the United Center

Average Ticket Price: $40, Get-in Price: $20, Trend: Down 43%

The incredibly reviewed and incredibly popular Disney Frozen On Ice show is currently touring Chicago's United Center and the Friday morning performance is by far the cheapest of the stay.
