The 2015 Governors Ball has released the daily lineup over its three day-festival on New York City's Randalls Island in June. Drake, Florence + The Machine and My Morning Jacket headline on Friday, June 5, DeadMau5, Bjork and Ryan Adams highlight Saturday and The Black Keys, Lana Del Rey and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds wrap on the mainstage on Sunday.
While Drake made headlines last week after dropping his 17-song mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, Florence + Machine will likely be the biggest draw on the festival’s first day. The eight-piece rock band hasn’t played in New York City since 2012, marking a three-year hiatus in the Big Apple. They’ll return in style and will play in front of an estimated 45,000 on June 5.
Saturday will be headlined by EDM juggernaut Deadmau5, who will be playing in support of 2014’s while (1<2). Bjork released her ninth studio album Vulnicura last month. Ryan Adams’ eponymously-named fourteenth studio record was released in September of last year.
Much like Florence + Machine, Lana Del Rey will make her anticipated return to New York City after a three-year absence. She’ll headline the festival’s final day on June 7 alongside The Black Keys and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. The Black Keys will support Turn Blue, their eighth studio album released in May of 2014.
Single-day tickets go on-sale to Citi card holders today while the general public will be granted access to tickets on February 20 at noon. Three-day passes are still available for purchase and average at $407 on the secondary market.
Other acts that will play on the festival’s first day include Chromeo, The Decemberists, St. Vincent, Death From Above 1979, Vance Joy, Benjamin Booker, Hermitude and The Picturebooks.
Saturday will also be highlighted by Conor Oberst, Marina & The Diamonds, Kiesza, Little Dragon, J. Roddy Walston & The Business, Kate Tempest and Charlotte OC.
The festival’s final day will wrap with performances by Tame Impala, Weird Al Yankovic, The War On Drugs, Echosmith and Hot Chip.
