Hedwig And The Angry Inch Tickets Averaging Over $270 Per Seat On Secondary Market This Month

The musical “Hedwig and The Angry Inch” has only been a Broadway production since April of 2014 when the show first opened on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre. Hedwig tells the story of a fictional rock and roll band that is led by a transgendered woman from East Germany. The musical production has gone through some cast changes for the lead role of Hedwig, which was first played by Neil Patrick Harris, followed by Andrew Rannells, Michael C. Hall. The role now features John Cameron Mitchell ,the co-creator of the musical. Since opening on Broadway last year, the show was award a Tony Award in 2014 for the Best Revival of a Musical.
According to TicketIQ, the average price for Hedwig tickets for the month of February is $271.52 on the secondary market. The most expensive show this month is Saturday’s Valentine’s Day showing at the Belasco Theatre. Tickets have a current average price of $316.66 in the secondary market, a 16.6% premium compared to the average price for the month. The least expensive ticket to get into Saturday’s 7pm show is $169.
The most affordable show this month for Hedwig tickets is the 7pm showing on February 27 as tickets for this show have a current secondary average price of $206.80, with a get-in price of $120.
