This week in indie and alternative music feature a diverse bunch of top trending concerts. On February 18th, Irish folk singer Hozier will be at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado. On the 19th Canadian indie rockers The Tragically Hip will be at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Bush and Theory of a Deadman will be at The Dome at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut. Fellow alt-rocker Aaron Lewis will be at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, New Jersey on the 21st. Finally on February 22nd riot-grrrl pioneers Sleater-Kinney will be at the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts.
2/21 Aaron Lewis at the Golden Nugget Atlantic City - Avg. Ticket Price $221.10 | Get-in: $47
Aaron Lewis will be in Atlantic City, New Jersey this week at the Golden Nugget on the 21st. The show has an average ticket price of $221.10 tough fans will be able to get in for the much cheaper price of $47. The singer most known as the frontman for the alt-rock band Staind, Lewis has been making country records as of late with The Road coming out in 2012. Fans will also be able to catch the singer this week on the 20th in Uncasville, Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
2/19 The Tragically Hip at Air Canada Centre - Avg. Ticket Price $203.16 | Get-in: $67
Canadian indie rockers The Tragically Hip will be at the Air Canada Centre this week on the 19th. The show has an average ticket price of $203.16 though fans will be able to find tickets for as low as $67. The band last released Now For Plan A in 2012 but are working on a new album due out sometime later this year. Canadian fans will also be able to catch the band on the 20th where they will play the Bell Centre in Montreal.
2/22 Sleater-Kinney at the House of Blues Boston - Avg. Ticket Price $147.68 | Get-in: $29
Sleater-Kinney the seminal riot grrrl trio is reunited and back on tour with a show this week at the House of Blues in Boston on the 22nd. The show has an average ticket price of $147.68 but fans will be able to get in for as low as $29. The band released No Cities to Love month and is their first since 2005’s The Woods. Next week fans will be able to catch Sleater-Kinney in Washington D.C., New York City, and Philadelphia.

Irish folk singer Hozier will be at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado this week on the 18th. The average ticket price for this show is set at $128.72 and the lowest get-in price is at $85. The singer soared to popularity with his huge hit “Take Me to Church” which was included as the lead single off his self-titled debut album. Hozier will also stop at First Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota on the 20th and at the Riverside Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the 21st.

The tour includes rock band Stars in Stereo as an opener. The tour will hit Boston and New York City next week.
