The snow is melting, the sun is shining, and festival season is almost here. It was a particular grueling winter for New York City, but the Metro Area can keep its chin high in anticipation of this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival, which is set to invade MetLife Stadium on Memorial Day Weekend. 2015’s lineup leaked earlier this week, and it’s certainly bound to pack a punch.
More than 70 artists will take the stage on May 23 and 24. Among the biggest names are Afrojack, Bassnectar, Tiesto, Flosstradamus and Calvin Harris. While set times and dates haven’t been confirmed just yet, tickets are expected to increase in price and ultimately sell out over the next several weeks.
For every ticket purchased to the 2015 EDC, $1 will be donated to support nonprofit charitable organizations, including Lifebeat and the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. All festivalgoers must be 18 or older to purchase a General Admission ticket. VIP tickets, which offer several additional amenities like full cash bars and special viewing sections, can only be purchased by patrons who are 21 and older.
The festival has already generated big ticket prices on the secondary market. A 2-day pass on TicketIQ currently averages at $398.63. The cheapest available pass is currently listed for $233.
