Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena Hosts Least Expensive NCAA Session During Round of 64

The Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena will be one of eight hosting sites to the Round of 64 in this year’s NCAA Tournament. Beginning this Thursday, the Florida-based venue will welcome Rounds 2 and 3 and feature several notable schools in the pack.

No. 3 Baylor takes on No. 14 Georgia State in the first game at 1:40pm and will be followed by a 4:10pm game between No. 6 Xavier and either BYU or Ole Miss. On Thursday evening, No. 4 North Carolina takes on No. 13 Harvard at 7:20pm and No. 5 Arkansas meets No. 12 Wofford directly after.

On Saturday, the winner of Game 1 (Baylor/Georgia State) will take on the winner of Game 2 (Xavier/BYU/Ole Miss). Game 3’s winner (North Carolina/Harvard) will face Game 4’s winner (Arkansas/Wofford).

According to TicketIQ, the average secondary price for an All-Sessions Pass to Rounds 2 and 3 this week is $402.59, which is the second least expensive pass among all eight venues hosting the second and third rounds. Only the Moda Center in Portland owns a cheaper All-Sessions Pass at $248.38.  The cheapest available All-Sessions Pass at the Jacksonville Memorial Veterans Arena is currently listed for $170.

If searching for individual session tickets, Session 1 tickets on TicketIQ average at $50.42, which is easily the cheapest session of the entire tournament. The get-in price starts at $20. Session 1 will feature Games 1 and 2 and will be just one of three sessions in the entire tournament with an average secondary price below $100. Those two other sessions will be Session 1 at the KFC Yum! Center (Iowa State vs UAB/SMU vs UCLA) on Thursday ($76.58) and Session 2 at the Moda Center (Utah vs SF Austin/Georgetown vs East Washington) Thursday ($93.22).

 

Session 2 tickets currently average at $109.10 and the cheapest ticket is $64 on the secondary market. Session 2 will host Games 3 and 4.
