Lil Wayne Embarks on 'Release Partiez' Nightclub Tour
March 24, 2015
It’s been two months since Lil Wayne dropped Sorry For The Wait 2, but the rapper has announced his plans to tour around the mixtape this Spring. The ‘Release Partiez Tour’ will place Weezy in nightclubs across the U.S. in March and April and will ultimately wrap in St. Louis at a TBD venue on May 31.
The tour kicked off at the BLVD Nightclub in Kansas City last Friday and 17 dates remain over the next month. Wayne will hit several notable cities along the way, including Tallahassee, Jacksonville, his native New Orleans, Memphis and Cincinnati. The final date on his immediate tour leg will be held at Suite 38 in Indianapolis on April 19.
More dates will be added soon, but it’s unknown if the 32-year-old will stick with his exclusive nightclubbing gigs on future tour stops.
While the rest of the world waits for more tour announcements, Wayne has hinted at the release of his music video for “Coco” off of SFTW2, which was originally written by O.T. Genasis.
