With the Spring season upon us, the top priced Broadway ticket on the secondary market has increased by 30% compared to last week as the “If/Then” musical is this week’s top priced Broadway show that enter its final week of production after debuting on Broadway last March. Other top Broadway shows feature a similar lineup from weeks past and here’s a breakdown of the top five Broadway shows on the secondary market, according to TicketIQ.
3/22/15 - If/Then | Avg. Price: $1,119.40 | Get-in Price: $345
The Broadway musical “If/Then” in its final week of production at the Richard Rodgers Theatre is this week’s top priced show on the secondary market with tickets going for an average price of $1,119.40 for this Sunday’s showing with the least expensive ticket to get in priced at $345. This musical tells the life and story of Elizabeth who moves back to NYC to restart her life.
3/21/15- Fish in the Dark | Avg. Price: $654.75 | Get-in Price: $407
Co-Creator of Seinfeld Larry David’s Broadway comedy “Fish in the Dark” has enjoyed a strong run on the top shows list as this Broadway show focuses on 15 characters who are dealing with a death in the family. Fish in the Dark tickets for Saturday’s show at the Cort Theatre are going for an average price of $654.75 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $407.
3/21/15 - The Curious Incident | Avg. Price: $480.67 | Get-in Price: $77
“The Curious Incident” continues to find its way on the top shows list featured for the 11th consecutive week as this Broadway play tells the story of an extraordinary 15-year-old boy.
