The battle of Los Angeles may have its greatest odds of occurring during the World Series. Both the Los Angeles Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers are expected to be among the best teams in the league this season. Both teams won their respective divisions last season, but failed to advance beyond the Divisional Round. Both teams are ready to battle through the regular season in hopes of making deep run in the playoffs. Given the competitive nature of both teams, these two teams boast high ticket prices on the secondary ticket market.
There will be six games played between the Angels and Dodgers during the 2015 season. With three games scheduled at Dodger Stadium, the average secondary market price for Dodgers vs. Angels tickets is $113.91 which is 50.3% higher than the Dodgers’ overall average home ticket price of $75.76. For the three games to be played at Angel Stadium, the average price for Angels vs. Dodgers tickets will be $125.01, 69% above the Angels’ overall average home ticket price of $73.84.

The highest-priced game between these two teams will occur at Angel Stadium on September 8. That game currently owns an average ticket price of $125.22 while the get-in price is $26. The most expensive game between the two at Dodger Stadium will come on August 2. That game currently owns an average ticket price of $121.25 while the get-in price is $16.
The rivalry between the Angels and Dodgers does not receive as much publicity as it should. Both teams won 90+ games last season and boast baseball’s two best players in Clayton Kershaw and Mike Trout. Both teams have struggled in recent playoff action, but making the playoffs is half the battle. 2015 could very well see both of these teams make a deep run, culminating in a World Series matchup.
