Cake: An American alternative rock band from Sacramento, California playing hits from their records Motorcade of Generosity and Fashion Nugget.The 11-date trek, which follows a joint run of 2018 dates, kicks off September 5th in Bonner, Montana and wraps September 19th.

(UPDATE 4/17) Ben Folds will be hitting the road next Thursday when his tour kicks off at the State Theatre in Maryland. The ever-evolving musician is seeing expensive ticket prices on the secondary market ahead of his spring run of dates, too. According to TicketIQ, the average price for Ben Folds tickets is now $84.44.
Folds will be playing alongside yMusic on all upcoming dates, with whom he recorded his soon-to-be released album with earlier this year. The singer’s most expensive show will be held on June 27 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Tickets for that show currently average at $207.90 and the get-in price starts at $109.
His cheapest show will be played at the Royale Boston on April 24. Next Friday’s show currently sees a ticket average of $43 and the cheapest ticket is listed for just $18. Nine shows in total are scheduled through May 8 when the tour concludes at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C.
Ben Folds Announces Spring Northeast Tour Dates, Teases New Album
(2/26) If it seems like Ben Folds is constantly developing his sound, that’s because he is. The singer’s new endeavor has enlisted the help of neo-classical sextet yMusic, with whom he recorded his forthcoming yet-to-be-named record with in just 12 days. A subsequent tour will also be held across Northeast cities this spring with more dates likely to be added in the coming weeks.
The tour’s first leg of dates begins on April 23 at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine. Nine shows will be played in total, with multiple dates scheduled in New York City and Washington, D.C. Folds and yMusic will hit the Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan twice and Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg once. The tour wraps with two shows at the Lincoln Theatre and 9:30 Club in nation’s capital.
Ben Folds tickets to his three upcoming New York City shows go on sale on Friday, February 27 at noon. Folds has stated that he’s aiming to release his collaborative album with yMusic in September.
