Jason Bonham, son of late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, is following his father’s footsteps and taking his Led Zeppelin Experience on the road next month. The 48-year-old will be playing songs from Zeppelin’s exhaustive discography and promises fans several songs the quartet rarely played live.
Bonham’s band will play Led Zeppelin I and II in their entirety as well. The month-long North American tour kicks off on May 3 at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida and wraps on May 31 at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre. 20 dates in total are scheduled, including multiple shows at the Wellmont Theatre in New Jersey, NYCB Theatre in New York, Ontario’s Colosseum at Caesars Window and the Arcada Theatre in Illinois.
The band, along with Bonham on drums, consists of guitarist Tony Cantania, keyboardist Alex Howland, bassist Dorian Heartsong and vocalist James Dylan.
