Social Distortion To Celebrate 25th Anniversary of Self-Titled LP With U.S. Summer Tour
April 22, 2015
Social Distortion will be on the road this summer celebrating the 25th anniversary of their self-titled LP, and they’ll be playing the album in full over the three-month U.S. run. Nicki River and Drag the River will join as support on all 26 dates.
The tour kicks off on July 28 at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona. It will stretch around the country through September 11, ultimately concluding at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles, California.
Notable stops along the way include House of Blues dates in Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Cleveland and Boston, the Festival Pier in Philadelphia, Stone Pony in New Jersey, Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and Fox Theater in Oakland.
Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday, April 21 at 10am at the venue’s local time. Social Distortion, the band’s influential 1990 record, includes fan favorites “Ball and Chain” and “Let It Be Me” and peaked at No. 128 on the Billboard 200 album chart that year.
