Talib Kweli Tickets Averaging $75 On Secondary Market Over Final Month of Tour

(UPDATE 4/8/15) Hip-hop royalty Talib Kweli is currently waist-deep in his North American leg of tour, and the Brooklyn native is bringing big secondary ticket prices with him over his final month in the U.S.

Kweli will play eight more shows through the middle of the month and will ultimately wrap at The Met in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on April 17. According to TicketIQ, the average price for Talib Kweli tickets is $74.94 on the secondary market.

He’ll play his most expensive show at the Highline Ballroom in New York City on April 14. Tickets for that show currently average at $76.84 and the get-in price starts at $60. His next top-priced show will be held at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston the following night. April 15 Talib Kweli tickets own an average secondary price of $74.15 and the cheapest available is listed for $33.

Other notable stops along the 39-year-old’s final month of tour include North Carolina’s Cat’s Cradle and The Orange Peel, Maryland’s Soundstage and Toad’s Place in New Haven, Connecticut. Following his final U.S. show in Rhode Island, he’ll head to Europe for four shows in Munchen, Switzerland and Germany.

Following his return stateside for a June 6 show in Austin, he’ll head back to Europe for shows in Germany and Amsterdam in mid-June. The hip-hop artist’s final scheduled tour date is set for July 10, when he plays the 80/35 Music Festival in Des Moines, Iowa.

(3/6/15) Gritty New York City rappers Talib Kweli & Immortal Technique are heading out on tour together this spring. Talib Kweli as a followup to 2013’s Gravitas will be releasing two records in 2015, the first a solo record entitled Radio Silence and a collaborative album with producer 9th Wonder B.A.D. or Build and Destroy. Immortal Technique has plans to release his fourth album The Middle Passage due out sometime this year. The tour kicks off on March 8th in Chicago, Illinois for a show at The Metro. On March 22nd the rappers will be at the Fillmore in San Francisco, California. That show has the most expensive average ticket price of the tour of $68.37, compared to the tour average of $54.64.The tour continues its run in California with a show at the Observatory North Park in San Diego on the 24th. The tour will start off the month of April with a show on the 3rd in Houston, Texas at Warehouse Live followed by a stop in New Orleans on the 5th at the House of Blues. On April 14th Talib Kweli and Immortal Technique will play their hometown of New York City at the Highline Ballroom. The next day the tour heads to Boston, Massachusetts for a show at the Paradise Rock Club which has the least expensive average ticket price of only $42.
