This week in metal and rock kicks off with the legendary Eric Clapton at Madison Square Garden in New York City. on May 1st. Singer Chris Daughtry will also be playing on the 1st in Atlantic City, New Jersey at the Borgata Music Box. On May 2nd hard rock band Halestorm will be at the Pier Six Concert Pavilion in Baltimore, Maryland. Also on the 2nd ZZ Top and Jeff Beck will perform at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, Texas while Journey will be at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rock and roll hall of famer Eric Clapton will be performing at Madison Square Garden in New York City this week on May 1st. The show has an average ticket price of $283.99 though fans will be able to find tickets for as low as $81. The singer most recently released The Breeze: An Appreciation of JJ Cale last year. Fans who can not make it to the MSG show on the 1st can try and get tickets for a second show on May 2nd.

5/2 ZZ Top & Jeff Beck at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion - Avg. Ticket Price $218.86 | Get-in: $81

Classic rockers ZZ Top and Jeff Beck will be performing this week at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, a suburb of Houston, Texas on May 2nd. The show has an average ticket price of $218.86 and a lowest get-in price of $81. ZZ Top last released La Futura in 2012 while Jeff Beck has not released a new album since 2010’s Emotion and Commotion. The tour will stay in Texas next week on the 3rd with a show at Concrete Street in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Arena rock band Journey will be performing this week at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on the 2nd. The show has an average ticket price of $199.45 though fans will be able to find tickets for as cheap as only $49. This incarnation of the band which features lead singer Arnel Pineda last released Eclipse back in 2011. This show is part of a Las Vegas Residency as fans will also be able to catch Journey on May 1st as well on the 6th, the 8th and the 9th next week.

Daughtry will be at the Borgata Music Box in Atlantic City, New Jersey this week on May 1st. The show has an average ticket price of $171.19 and a lowest get-in price of $31. The band led by singer and guitarist Chris Daughtry rose to fame competing on American Idol and his subsequent singles “Home” and “It’s Not Over”. The Band last released their 4th album Baptized back in 2013.  Daughtry will also play this week in Washington D.C. at the Lincoln Theatre on May 2nd.

Hard rock band Halestorm will be at the Pier Six Concert Pavilion in Baltimore, Maryland this week on the 2nd. The show has an average ticket price of $107.52 and a lowest get-in price of $41. The band just released their third album Into the Wild Life earlier this month reaching the top spot on the Billboard Rock Charts. The band will be in Virginia Beach, Virginia on the 1st at the Lunatic Luau.
