Twisted Sister To Fulfill All Remaining 2015 Tour Dates, Announce 2016 Farewell Tour

Twisted Sister tragically lost drummer A.J. Pero to a sudden heart attack last month, and the iconic glam band will carry out all remaining dates this year with heavy hearts and iconic drummer Mike Portnoy in tow.

To honor their late member, Twisted Sister will also play two additional dates at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and Starland Ballroom in New Jersey in May and June. The band has stated that 2016 will be the final year it tours, putting an end to a 40-year career.

The first memorial show for Pero in Las Vegas will be held on May 30 and will be broadcast and released on CD and DVD. The second and final show in New Jersey will be held for Pero’s family on June 13. The band will play

Now consisting of vocalist Dee Snider, guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda and bassist Mark Mendoza, Twisted Sister will play its final shows next year and the band is calling their swan song the “Forty and F*ck It” Tour. In addition to all remaining solo dates in 2015, the “We’re Not Gonna Take It” creators will also honor all upcoming festival appearances, including stops at the State Prison Motorcycle Festival in Denmark, Topfest in Slovakia and Rock Fest in Barcelona this summer.
