Ed Helms’ The Lonesome Trio Announce Summer U.S. Tour Dates

Ed Helms will be ditching the movie script for a guitar this summer. The “Hangover” star has just announced a string of tour dates with his band The Lonesome Trio. The group, who met and formed in college, will embark on its first-ever headlining gig across eight U.S. dates in June.
The tour will be in support of The Lonesome Trio’s debut self-titled album, which hits stores on June 16. The subsequent tour will start two weeks beforehand, however, at The Birchmere in Virginia on June 4. Other notable stops along the way include Rockwood Music Hall in New York City, Third & Linsley in Nashville, Space in Chicago and the Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee. It will wrap on June 16 at Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles.
