George Thorogood and The Destroyers & Brian Setzer Joint Tour Tickets Average $88 On Secondary Market

(UPDATE 5/27/15) New York is ready to welcome two of the most celebrated guitarists of the 20th century as George Thorogood and Brian Setzer continue their joint tour on the 29th at the Beacon Theatre.

Unsurprisingly, this date is highly demanded on the secondary market, and is the priciest date on the tour with an average asking price of $136 per ticket (well above the tour average of $88) and cheapest seat available $53. On the opposite end of the spectrum, June 5th at the DTE Energy Theatre in Detroit is by far the tour's cheapest date. This performance averages $42 on the resale market with cheapest ticket currently just $4.

George Thorogood and Brian Setzer Announce Joint ‘Rockabilly Riot 2015’ Tour

(2/11/15) George Thorogood will be rioting with fellow guitarist Brian Setzer this summer.

The two musicians will head out on the George Thorogood/Brian Setzer’s Rockabilly Riot Tour 2015 this summer, playing 13 U.S. dates in May and June. It will be the first time the two have toured together in more than 20 years.

Thorogood is heading out in support of his 2011 album, ‘2120 South Michigan Ave’, a cover record paying homage to artists on Chess Records. Setzer will tour his record ‘Rockabilly Riot! All Original’, which was released last August.

This summer’s tour isn’t the only upcoming feat on Thorogood’s plate. The 64-year-old rocker is set to embark on the George Thorogood and the Destroyers: Badder Than Ever Tour later this month, which will run through North America through late-April.
