College World Series Game 3 Tickets Averaging $55 On Secondary Market

(UPDATE 6/24/15) The Virginia Cavaliers were facing elimination in the College World Series and came out with a 3-0 victory in Game 2. The shutout win set up a deciding Game 3 against the Vanderbilt Commodores at TD Ameritrade Park. Prices will not be high to see the winner of the series as College World Series tickets have an average price of $55 on the secondary market and a $17 get-in price for Wednesday night’s game. With a win, Vanderbilt would be the seventh school to win back-to-back College World Series. A Virginia win would make them the first ACC school to win the title since Wake Forest in 1955.

Vanderbilt vs Virginia Game 2 CWS Tickets Are 40% Cheaper Than Game 1
(UPDATE 6/23/15) Vanderbilt beat Virginia 5-1 in the opening game of the College World Series finals. With the Game 1 win, Vanderbilt will have a chance to win the the series with a win on Tuesday night. Last minute tickets for Game 2 will be significantly less expensive than they were on Monday, mostly due to a drop in quantity. The current average price for Game 2 is $65.30, down 40% from its price on Monday, while the available ticket quantity has dropped 84.3% in the same time. Should Virginia win, a deciding Game 3 would be played on Wednesday with an average price of $70.72 and a get-in price of $19.

Virginia vs Vanderbilt College World Series Tickets Are Averaging $70 On Secondary Market
(UPDATE 6/22/15) After a long tournament, the Virginia Cavaliers and Vanderbilt Commodores will square off in the College World Series Finals. The best-of-three round will kick off on Monday night, with games also scheduled for the following two days. The current average price for College World Series tickets is $85.03, however that is skewed heavily by the second game of the series. Game 1 currently has an average price of $61.14 with a get-in price of $16 on Monday. Game 2 on Tuesday will see one school have a chance to win the series and the current average price is $100.59, though with a get-in price of $13. Should the series need and third and final game on Wednesday, the current average is $70.43 with a get-in price of $19.

Arkansas/Virginia Matchup Most Expensive Opening Weekend College World Series Tickets
(UPDATE 6/10/15) The 2015 College World Series is down to its final eight schools, and they will playing in Omaha starting June 13. The tournament will be double elimination, culminating in a best of three championship series. The schools still involved include Arkansas, Virginia, Florida, Miami, LSU, TCU, CSU Fullerton and Vanderbilt. 2015 College World Series tickets for the first set of games have an average price of $129.98, the most expensive of which is currently Game 1 between Arkansas and Virginia with an average price of $145.04.
Across the three games of the Finals, the average price is only slightly higher at $139.96. The second game is currently the most expensive with an average of $164.01. The get-in price for all three Finals games is $11.

2015 College World Series Tickets Averaging $123 On Secondary Market
(6/4/15) The College World Series kicks off on June 13 in Omaha, Nebraska at TD Ameritrade Park. Eight elite college baseball teams will compete in a best of three-game series tournament to determine the winner. At the present time, the Division I baseball tournament is still being decided this week as 16 teams will compete from June 5 to June 8 in the Super Regionals to determine the eight participants who will compete for the College World Series Championship.
College World Series tickets on the secondary market will see affordable prices as the most expensive ticket for an individual game has an average of $180.03. That price comes from a possible Game 3, if necessary, of the Finals on June 24 and the cheapest seat for this game is priced at $15. Across all College World Series games, the current average price is $123.20.
College baseball fanatics who don’t want to miss any of the action at TD Ameritrade Park can opt for the All Games pass on TicketIQ, going for an average price of $1,828.44 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $868.
Tickets for the all games pass this year has increased significantly compared to last year but the most expensive College World Series ticket in 2014 trumps this year’s by 19 percent. 2014’s most expensive game had an average price of $214.79. During this year’s College World Series, no tickets will see an average price over $200.
In fact, there are two games on the schedule with tickets at an asking average price under $100. The cheapest game on the schedule is for June 15, the third day of play. Tickets for the opening game of the day are going for an average price of $87.89 on the secondary market, with the cheapest seat priced at just $9. The get-in prices for all of the games in the College World Series will be no more than $15 and as low as $9.
With the Super Regional bracket set, the LSU Tigers find themselves as the slight favorites to win it all after a surprise regional exit by the UCLA Bruins. The loss of the Bruins makes the road to a national title so much easier for not only the LSU Tigers, but many other schools.
While LSU still seems to be one of the most balanced teams in the country, there are still other teams in the field that could make some noise such as the Florida Gators, and defending champs Vanderbilt.
