2015 Summerfest Tickets Are Averaging $114 On Secondary Market

Each year, Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin brings in over 900,000 people to see more than 800 acts across an 11 day festival. That brings some truth to its billing as The World’s Largest Music Festival. The 2015 edition of Summerfest will kick off on Tuesday night with a concert from The Rolling Stones at Marcus Amphitheatre. Rolling Stones tickets for that show have an average price of $349.68 on the secondary market with a get-in price of $121. The festival will officially start on June 24 with its day-long schedules.
Every night Summerfest will have a main headliner playing at Marcus Amphitheatre. Those acts range from Carrie Underwood to Kings of Leon to Neil Young to Ed Sheeran. Meanwhile acts will be playing on 12 other stages, including the BMO Harris Pavilion, Miller Lite Oasis Stage and Harley-Davidson Roadhouse Stage. Artists on those stages include Sheryl Crow, Motion City Soundtrack, Gary Clark Jr. and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
General admission tickets will allow festivalgoers into all of the stages, but tickets for each night’s Marcus Amphitheatre show will be sold separately. On the secondary market, the average price across the 11 shows is $113.51. The most expensive of which is currently for Keith Urban and Dan & Shay on June 26. Keith Urban tickets have an average price of $179.99 with a get-in price of $59. The least expensive show will come a day earlier for Kings of Leon. The current average for Kings of Leon tickets is $67.63 with a get-in price of $32.
