Third Eye Blind and Dashboard Confessional Announce 39-Date Summer Tour
(3/9/15) Dashboard Confessional has not toured as a full band in five years. That will change this summer when the band gets back together for a 39-date summer tour along with Third Eye Blind. The tour will start at the end of May and will run through the end of July with two nights at San Francisco’s Nob Hill Masonic Center.
After touring for the 10th Anniversary of The Swiss Army Romance, frontman Chris Carrabba started doing other solo projects and bands. He most recent fronted folk band Twin Forks. Dashboard has not released a studio album since 2009’s Alter The Ending.
Along with the tour announcement, the band gave fan club members an exclusive stream of a never before released demo. Those fan club members will also get access to a pre-sale for tickets starting on Tuesday, March 10 at 10am. Secondary market tickets have already hit the market.
Third Eye Blind was rumored to have been recording and releasing their final album in 2014, but no new music was released. Third Eye Blind’s most recent album was 2009’s Ursa Major.
