WWE Battleground Tickets Averaging $$118 On Secondary Market

June 25, 2015

Still three weeks away from the pay-per-view, WWE Battleground had a few more matches added to its card. The July 19 event currently has an average price of $117.63 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $44. That’s down slightly, 9.3% over the past week, though the get-in price has remained the same.

Joining the card are three title matches, for the United States championship, Intercontinental championship and Tag Team championship. Below is the current card for 2015 WWE Battleground.

With three WWE pay-per-views scheduled within three weeks from May to the start of June, it will be over a month before the next event, Battleground. Battleground will take place at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri on July 19. With some lead time and a fairly major arena, Battleground tickets will be the most expensive of the past four pay-per-views on the secondary market. The current average price for the event is $129.75 with a get-in price of $44.

Two matches so far have been made official for the Battleground pay-per-view. The biggest will be for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Champion Seth Rollins successfully defended his title against Dean Ambrose in a ladder match at Money in the Bank. However, he will face his likely biggest challenge yet in a returning Brock Lesnar. Lesnar was last seen the Monday night after WrestleMania when he was suspended by Stephanie McMahon. Rollins won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Lesnar when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and pinned Roman Reigns during the main event of WrestleMania 31.

Battleground will be the last pay-per-view before WWE’s arguably second biggest event of the year, SummerSlam. SummerSlam will be held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on August 23. The current average price for SummerSlam tickets is $261.70 with a get-in price of $119.
