A Look at the Typical Setlist on Boston’s 2015 Summer Tour

Progressive rockers Boston have been touring in the States since last month and have plans to continue through the end of August. 16 more shows remain along the way, and the band is drawing a big demand for tickets on the secondary market. According to TicketIQ, the average price for Boston tickets over the next six weeks is $142.07.

The band’s most expensive tour date remaining comes on July 25 at Ironstone Amphitheatre in Murphys, California. Also featuring a performance by fellow rock outfit REO Speedwagon, the average secondary price for Boston California tickets is $244.27 and the get-in price is $110. Other top-priced shows include Humphreys Concerts by the Bay on July 28 ($169.53 avg./$125 get-in), July 26 at The Forum in Los Angeles ($167.61 avg./$74 get-in) and August 1 at Comerica Theatre in Detroit ($150.03 avg./$55 get-in).

Conversely, Wisconsin State Fair Park hosts the band’s cheapest tour date on July 31. Boston Wisconsin tickets currently average at $62.57 and the cheapest ticket available is $49.

Boston is on the road in support of 2013’s Life, Love and Hope, which has received recent attention after a special edition vinyl pressing was released. Boston Tickets Along Spring and Summer Tour Average at $146 on Secondary Market

(UPDATE 5/6/15) Boston continues its highly-anticipated tour through August, and the band is seeing considerable ticket demand for all upcoming dates. According to TicketIQ, the average secondary price for Boston tickets along the three-month route is $146.02.

The band’s top-priced gig will be held on July 31 at the California Mid-State Fair Grounds, where tickets own a media average of $334.65 and get-in price is $59. A performance at Hard Rock Live in Orlando on May 7 serves as the second most expensive gig, with tickets averaging at $251.43 and owning a $115 low price on the resale market.

Conversely, Boston’s least expensive tour stop will be on May 14 at White Oak Amphitheatre in North Carolina. That show currently sees secondary ticket average at $64.99 and get-in price start at $59. The cheapest available ticket on the secondary market is for an August 6 stop at the Wisconsin State Fair Park at $32.

Boston Plot 2015 Tour Dates

(2/23/15) Progressive rock band Boston are embarking on a tour this year in support of their album Life, Love & Hope. Though the album was released back in 2013, the album is getting more reps in with its vinyl release. The tour kicks off on April 30th in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. On May 1st the tour heads to Orange Beach, Alabama for a show at the Amphitheater at the Wharf. On June 3rd and 4th Boston will kick off the summer with a pair of shows in Niagara Falls, Ontario at the Fallsview Casino Resort. On the 6th the tour will make its way to the Mark G Etess Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Hitting the midwest on July 2nd the band will stop at the Fraze Pavillion in Kettering, Ohio. This show has the least expensive ticket price of the tour of $69.25, compared to the tour average ticket price of $240.24. On the 26th of July the tour heads to the west coast with a show in the Inglewood area of Los Angeles at The Forum. This show has the most expensive average ticket price $296.63. Boston will then play a pair of shows in San Diego on the 27th and 28th at Humphrey’s Concerts. The tour will come to an end on August 9th at the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas.
