Black Emperor is taking its unique experimental sound to the States this fall. The band has been touring Europe for months now in support of *Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress*, its fifth studio album that was released back in March and has finally announced a U.S. run set to begin in September. 15 dates are scheduled in the U.S. through November 29, when the band wraps its stateside run at Terminal 5 in New York City. In addition to those 15 shows will also be a September 26 stop at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall. Notable venues the octet will hit include 9:30 Club in D.C., Joy Theatre in New Orleans, Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland and Union Transfer in Philadelphia.//.. 16 shows in total are scheduled in the U.S. and Canada through the end of September. An October road stint through the U.K. and France follows the U.S. leg, which will hit venues like the Warwick Arts Centre in Coventry, The Sage in Gateshead and Camp and Furnace in Liverpool.
