Sam Smith To Play 20 U.S. Tour Dates this Summer

(2/23/15) Fresh off a four-win night at the Grammy Awards earlier this month, Sam Smith has given fans in the U.S. another reason to cheer after announcing intentions to play 20 dates this summer. The tour kicks off at the Forecastle Festival in Kentucky on July 17 and concludes at the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie in Texas on August 17.

The soulful singer added four Grammys to his collection on February 8, taking home hardware for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for his release “In the Lonely Hour”, which spawned the hit ballad “Stay With Me”. That song would give Smith another two Grammy wins for Song and Record of the Year.
